About Hoppers
Hoppers takes a fun sci-fi concept — scientists can now "hop" human consciousness into robotic animals — and builds a family adventure around it. A 19-year-old animal lover named Mabel jumps at the chance to use the technology, only to discover that the animal world has far more going on than humans ever realized. It's part nature documentary, part action-comedy, and the mix is surprisingly fresh.
Daniel Chong created We Bare Bears, and that same warmth and humor is all over this film. The animation is vibrant, the animal world-building is creative, and there's a genuine sense of wonder in how the film explores animal societies. Jon Hamm and Bobby Moynihan voice supporting characters, and both are clearly having a good time.
The premise could've easily been a one-joke movie, but Hoppers keeps finding new angles. It's smarter than it needs to be for a family film.

Is It Worth Watching?
For families looking for something beyond the usual sequels, Hoppers is a solid pick. It's imaginative, moves well, and has enough depth to keep adults engaged. TMDB has it at 7.6, which tracks — it's a well-made animated film that doesn't talk down to its audience. Good for a weekend family trip to the cinema.
