About Wonderful Nightmare
Wonderful Nightmare is a Filipino comedy-drama about a high-powered lawyer who dies because of a clerical error in heaven — and gets sent back to live as someone completely different. Kim Molina plays the lead, and if you've seen her in previous comedies, you know she can carry a movie. The premise is borrowed (the 2015 Korean film of the same name), but the local adaptation leans into Filipino family dynamics in a way that gives it its own identity.
Jerald Napoles is paired with Molina again, and their chemistry is reliable at this point — they know how to play off each other, and the comedy between them feels natural rather than scripted. Al Tantay and Candy Pangilinan round out the family, and the movie gets its emotional weight from the family relationships rather than the fantasy premise.
RC Delos Reyes directs, keeping things light enough for a broad audience while letting the sentimental moments breathe when they need to.

Is It Worth Watching?
Kung trip mo 'yung mga Pinoy feel-good comedies na may kasamang iyakan sa dulo, Wonderful Nightmare fits the bill. Kim Molina is always watchable, and the movie doesn't try to be more than what it is — an entertaining family film with heart. PG rating means you can bring the whole household. Good for a relaxed cinema trip.
